TheNETBuilder Internetwork Bridges are local and remote routing bridges. The IB/2000 is a local bridge that supports thick Ethernet cabling through attachment unit interface (AUI) connections, and thin Ethernet cabling through direct connections. The IB/3000 uses RS-232 or V.35 connectors to link geographically remote Ethernet networks over serial lines at data rates from 9.6Kbps to 2.048Mbps.
